Learning English as a Second Language because Dyslexia ESL.  If you are Dyslexic, you will see repeating letters that will turn from what the author intended to other combinations of similar or exact same other letters. Other languages do not have their alphabet letters turn into one another when they are turned or rotated as English does.

The English alphabet does not help foreigners to learn its language.  The alphabet itself is very different with both good reasons and bad reasons compared for foreign alphabets.  The English alphabet is part of why learning English as a second language or foreign language is so difficult.

English is a fascinating subject but also a difficult subject to grasp if learning from another language.  Whether you are Dyslexic or just coming in learning from another language it is a different set of rules to learn and a very different set of writing skills than many other alphabets.

First, we must look at the English alphabet and the faults that it has to foreigners and natives alike.  The English alphabet has 26 letters upper case, 26 letters lower case and 10 numbers.  The reality is that you do not have to be a Dyslexic to be confused by the alphabet.  Many creative people from other languages do not understand the writing style differences of the English alphabet over their own language.

Other languages do not have Dyslexia Letters, letters that by rotating become other letters in their alphabet.



Dyslexia as a Second Language has the English alphabet flip its letters to form other letters that are identical or similar to one another.  This is a large problem for Dyslexic foreign students but also a large problem for foreign readers who are attempting to learn the alphabet or use it to write properly.

There are Five Main ways to Improve Dyslexia Reading:

3. Learn all English alphabet letters upside down
4. Use a Free Dyslexia font that does not have the b turn into a p or d if the letter is upside down or inverted.

There are many big reasons why Dyslexia as a Second Language is an accurate statement.

The a, if not formed properly could look like an o.  The h and l could also be similar if the font you are using is not strongly connecting all parts of the h together.  The d and b and p are identical to one another and proves difficult for foreign readers, especially that there are no accents on any of the alphabet.

The clarity and straight forwardness of not having any accents at first makes English appear simpler than many foreign languages but the hidden rules of the language itself and the alphabet itself is a difficulty.

Dyslexia as a Second Language is the spinning or turning of the alphabetical letters during reading which many non-Dyslexic readers do.  It is not just the Dyslexic readers who spin letters while reading things.  Foreign readers are also translating differences between their language and the English language when learning and writing English.  The spinning effect of a b so similar to a d is not an easy thing for anyone who is learning English as a Second Language.

What needs to be clear to those foreign to the English language is the alphabetic font and the clarity of each letter of the alphabet compared to other letters.  Designers of Fonts will have to start getting better and more skillful with not confusing readers with overly design typeface or font types

Every reader from another foreign language other than English needs every bit of help that they can get when it comes to reading and writing.  The Font typeface of most English alphabet fonts hinder the foreign reader from seeing clearly each letter in actual clarity.

If you take the letter p, lower case and get it confused with d you may be Dyslexic or you may just be a reader of a foreign language that is used to reading with an accent above the letter which gave the letter a placement while you were reading in your original language.

The shape of Letters needs to be clear so that the foreign reader can separately read each alphabetical letter as it is intended.  The shapes of most fonts in English uniform each of the letters to look similar to each other to the degree that often the letters look identical with only one difference in the typeface.

The Foreign reader needs to be able to see more than one difference per letter if it is possible and the clarity of the alphabetical letters need to emphasize the difference between the two letters that may happen to be similar to one another.

Dyslexia as a Second Language for Foreigners

It is vitally important as a Foreigner the realities of the English alphabet.  Reading the alphabet is difficult for many native English-speaking people.  It is not perhaps that people cannot read, it is that they consistently make mistakes in their reading and often times because they are Dyslexic. 

Many times, the reasons for difficulty in reading is the English alphabet itself and many times it is the typeface that represents the English alphabet that makes it so difficult.

To the reader of English as a second language the difficulties of reading with Dyslexia is incredible.

Foreigners are most often honest people trying to learn in a straightforward way a new language.  The language of English itself does not help the foreigners or English as a Second language students learn.  Why would the alphabet have so many difficult things that are similar to each other to see? 

The w and the m are identical in certain handwriting. 

Knowing the difference between Dyslexia vs. Normal spelling Errors is important.  Gaining this understanding by studying examples can be achieved. 

The w and the m are usually very different in meaning and they are very different in sound.   Often times the w and the m are identically created as reverse images of each other in the alphabet.  IF you flip the m and the w around in many people’s font typefaces or handwriting, they are exact matches to each other.

There is accent that tells you where the top of the m is and where the top of the w is.  This is a huge adjustment in reading to an English as a second language student.

It may be that the foreign student or English as a second language reader is Dyslexic ESL because they are used to having indicators telling them which way each letter is up ways in their own alphabet sequence.  It is also likely that the foreigner is just not used to reading without indicators of top or bottom of letters and this causes a confusion right off the bat.

In Hebrew there are repeated letters in their alphabet, yet they are different repeated letters.  Any language that has repeated letters if inverted, mirrored or reflected is more difficult to learn for anyone including foreigners.


What is Dyslexia ESL Foreign Syntax?

Foreigner Syntax is the order of words that are part of their sentence structures.  Many Dyslexia as a Second Language individuals are confused because the order of which the sentence structure is reversed in English as to their native language.  

It is very easy to understand how a reverse sentence syntax could cause the foreigner difficulty while reading.  The reading of the sentence structure would be not only phonetically challenging but also ordered differently in English than in the foreign language.

The Syntax differences in different languages is the reason why alphabetical letters need to be so unique from each other in clarity. 

If the letters are unique to each other and characterized in a way that they do not repeat each other like the d and b do in English, it would be easier to adopt to the syntax differences. English as a Foreign Language students will find other issues and syntax differences.

Phonetics are not the main English Alphabetical Problem

Learning Phonetics and reading and writing are connected but different.  Too often we confuse the reality of what a foreigner is used to seeing while they are reading with the phonetic structure differences.  It is a drastic change to go from reading in a foreign language and reading in an English language.

Phonetic pronunciation can be done audibly and referenced to English letter and sentence structures.  The actual alphabet writing itself is part of what makes the English language so difficult. 

There are so many letters that are identical in the English alphabet with no indication which it the top of the letter or the bottom of the letter.  Not being able to see the clear differences between each of the English alphabetical letters is a main reason why foreigners struggle with English.

Dyslexia English as a second language or English as a Foreign Language has the challenges of the actual alphabet, not only the syntax differences of learning the language. strives to improve the font in order to help the reader to learn and read using English.  Each character of the alphabet is unique to each letter and does not repeat the way almost all fonts in English do.

Understanding Dyslexia as a Second Language can help motivate the Dyslexia Reader to learn their Dyslexia Variations which will help their reading and studies.

    Question:  Did Nikola Tesla have Dyslexia ESL?

Answer:  Yes, it has been said that Nikola Tesla had Dyslexia ESL. Dyslexia is usually the permanent condition of rotating and reversing, mirroring and flipping letters in the alphabet and also concepts and perceptions.  It is incredible the perspective that a person can obtain when they are Dyslexic.

Nikola Tesla had inverted concepts and was an out of the box thinker who was able to create and process ideas in unique ways.  It is very interesting that he was capable of achieving so much that we do know and much more than we do not know inventions, concepts and practical thinking.  

If you have Dyslexia as a Second Language like Nikola Tesla did, you can still be successful in English.

If you look at people who are dyslexic.  You will discover thinkers who are capable of reversing concepts in non-linear ways.  In many ways it is advantageous to be a non-linear thinker.  Some Dyslexics, like Nikola Tesla can create things by inverting more regular concepts to create new things.

For instance, grounding the electricity a certain way allowed Tesla to play with and create energy field that could send electricity through the air.  This is a non-linear thinking method of processing. Nikola Tesla had to learn English as a Foreign language to some degree given his foreign background.

Nikola Tesla was able to reverse number patterns in mathematical equations and invert English logic patterns in science.  Some say that his reverse number patterns were energy producing mathematics which not only could contain energy like batteries but also gain energy field strengths.  This is not normally done by someone who is a non-dyslexic.

    Question: Is Dyslexia ESL homogenous or should it be split into several dyslexic types?

Answer:  At the minimum there is horizontal Dyslexia and vertical Dyslexia.  Many people believe that there could be more than two types of Dyslexia and that it is not homogenous.

Full Dyslexia would be considered to be fully horizontal and fully vertical in nature and the Dyslexic would be affected Dyslexically in both horizontal and vertical ways.  Each letter could have a flip inverting or everting on the horizontal basis.  Each letter vertically could mirror image rotating vertically or flipping vertically to create the dys, Dyslexia condition in a vertical angle.

Many people have Dyslexia in partial ways and with partial mindset to the perspective in Dyslexia.  Some only have symptoms of Dyslexia with certain letters, yet not with other letters.  Some only have symptoms of Dyslexia with certain numbers looking like certain letters reversed imaged.  3 and E are reverse letter combinations that Number Dyslexics often work with when they are Dyslexic.

In Dyslexia English as a second language or English as a Foreign Language many other foreign combinations would come about when the understanding of Dyslexia was applied to them.

It is important that numbers and letters are uniquely formed characters so that the Capital E does not look in font type to the 3 and vice versa.

    Question: Why can Dyslexics read and write blogs?

Dyslexics can read most often when they can decipher the text into comprehension, then memorize the comprehensions meaning.  Dyslexics can be proficient readers and writers in many cases, just like Foreign English as a second language students can be proficient even though their first language was not English.

It is easier for both the foreign language student and English as a second language student to learn English if the English alphabet has actually distinct alphabetical letters. 

English as a Foreign Language students also will benefit from distinct letters. Additionally, it is easier for a Dyslexic reader and writer to write and read blogs when the alphabet is distinct, and the alphabetical letters are distinct from one another.

If the typeface of the Dyslexic reader is actually a Dyslexic proof font, they will be able to have an easier time working with the English alphabet because the English alphabet will be easier.  The easier and more distinct the letters are the easier the foreigner will also be able to read the English. 

There is a great reason why many Dyslexics are only found to be Dyslexic when using the English alphabet but when using other foreign languages their Dyslexia is not an issue or even a topic of discovery.
